The itinerary

Day 01

Cusco to Rainbow Mountain Hike

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco at 3:30 am. The day begins very early in the morning, but the trip will be worth it. Your drive from Cusco takes about three hours, so sit back and relax. Before your hike starts, stop to enjoy a light breakfast.
Afterwards, your Peruvian trekking guide and small group will set out on the 3-4-hour hike to the mountains.
Once you reach the summit, rest for a bit before admiring the stunning mountain views. The mountains get their name from their beautiful rainbow-like colour. Take all the photos you like, and then head down to lower altitudes, where you can stop for lunch.
Your driver will be waiting for your group and guide at the trailhead. Hop back into your vehicle for a 3-hour drive to your hotel in Cusco. You will arrive sometime between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
