Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cusco Tour

   • Pick up from the Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel.
   • Check into the hotel to freshen up. 
   • Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Cusco in the afternoon. 
   • Visit Plaza de Armas, Koricancha Palace and Sacsayhuaman, where Inti Raymi is staged annually. 
   • Explore the Quenko amphitheatre, the Pucapucara fortress and the Tambomachay baths.

   Overnight stay in Cusco.

2. Day 2: Cusco-Sacred Valley-Machu Picchu

   • Have breakfast at the hotel and board a bus to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. 

   • Visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, located on top of a hill and appreciate the beauty of the Sacred Valley.

   • Continue to the Pisac Craft Market and buy beautiful handicrafts and fabrics.

   • Observe the typical landscapes and villages of the Sacred Valley, including Calca, Yucay and Urubamba.

   • Have buffet lunch at the Sacred Valley.

   • Head to the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, at one end of the Sacred Valley, explore the picturesque town and appreciate its imposing platforms.

   • Travel to the Ollantaytambo train station and get on a train to Machu Picchu.

   • Arrive at Machu Picchu and check into a hotel. 

   Overnight stay in Machu Picchu.

3. Day 3: Machu Picchu

   • Have breakfast at the hotel and board a bus to go to the wonderful Incan citadel Machu Picchu. 

   • Visit its main stepped buildings, stairways, temples, turrets, the Solar Clock or Intiwatana and more. 

   • Continue to Huayna Picchu and explore the area.

   Return to the hotel in Cusco.

4. Day 4: Depart for Cusco Airport

   • Have breakfast at the hotel in Cusco and at the indicated time travel to the airport.
