- At 5 am, leave the hotel in Cusco 30 minutes before the departure time of Cusco.
Go to the train station located in the town of Ollantaytambo (1 hour 30 minutes by car) and board the train to Aguas Calientes.
Upon arrival at the train station, a Peru guide will be waiting for you.
Explore Aguas Calientes, known as a gateway to the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu
Next, head to the bus station to ascend a 400-m high zigzag path, for 30 minutes, and reach the incredible wonderworld the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, known as the Lost City of the Incas.
Upon arrival at the citadel of Machu Picchu, visit the city's main venues such as the Main Square, Circular Tower, Sacred Solar Clock, Royal Rooms, Temple of the Three Windows and cemeteries. The guided tour will extend for two hours.
In the end, take a walk around the Citadel and visit Machu Picchu on your own.
- Return to the town of Aguas Calientes and have lunch in one of the restaurants.
- In the afternoon, take a train back to Cusco.
After arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo, go to the hotel in Cusco.
