Wadi Shab Hike and Bimmah Sinkhole Visit
Meet your tour guide at the seaport, hotel, or airport and take a fascinating car trip along the Omani coast towards the town of Sur. In 1.5-2 hours, arrive at the top of the oasis and park the car in the parking area of Wadi Shab.
Enjoy a short motorboat ferry ride across a reservoir of clear turquoise water.
Walk for 45-60 minutes along the gorge, admiring the surrounding nature, cliffs, fruit plantations, and pools.
Arrive at the point where the hiking trail ends and the optional swimming route begins. Reach a fairly deep pool, where there is an entrance to a wonderful cave with an amazing waterfall.
Visit Lake Bimmah Sinkhole, considered one of the most magnificent karst lakes in the world. According to local beliefs, this is the place where the stars fell and formed a funnel measuring 50 by 70 meters with a depth of 20 meters. The excursion includes passage through the gorge.
