Hi there - and a warm thank you for looking into my tours and my profile - not necessarily on my own part, but for discovering my favorite place and hometown Bodø! Born in 1964 I grew up on a meduim sized farm in mid - Norway, something I feel gave me that great outdoors love and passion for nature.I studied and practiced an education in management and economics a few years but ended up in my current "dayjob" as an Air Traffic Controller in Bodø Tower and Approach Control - which I have loved doing for more than 20 years now.Bodø and the surrounding areas Salten, Helgeland and Lofoten turned out to be perfect for my various and ever changing hobbies during these years as well.Diving and paragliding was followed by sea kayaking and next sailing until mountainbiking also made its entry.And always skiing, cross country and downhill.In Bodø I also met my wife and life companion since 1994, Kirsti - whom I live with in downtown Bodø with our son right in the neighbourhood.Just a 5 minute walk from the two sailboats I have, mind you :-). I have been running a hobby sailcharter business since 2015 including guided short tours around the nearby islands so you could say the guide career started then.However it was first in August 2019 the decision was made to start tours on ebikes and later hiking tours, so my formal guide training and licencing was done in spring 2020.If You choose to join for a tour I promise to do my very best to make it memorable on Your behalf.Bodø and the area has a rich history and personally I like to look for those hidden stories that searching the internet won't get you....All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.Best regards,Ola
