Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
- Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and meet your guide for a transfer to the hotel.
- Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a half-day city tour.
- Visit the Gandan Monastery, home to the largest indoor Buddha statue and the centre of Buddhism in Mongolia.
- Explore the National Museum to trace Mongolia’s history from the Stone Age to modern times.
- Visit Sukhbaatar Square, also known as Chingis Khaan Square, the city’s central and historical landmark.

Day 2: Amarbayasgalant Monastery
- After breakfast, drive to Amarbayasgalant Monastery, located 140 km southeast of Darkhan.
- Discover one of Mongolia’s most important monasteries, built between 1727 and 1736 in honour of Saint Zanabazar, the first Bogd.
- Explore over 50 temples that once housed 6,000 lamas.
Overnight at a tourist camp.

Day 3: Uran Togoo Volcano
- After breakfast, travel to Uran Togoo Volcano.
- Hike up the dormant volcanic mountain, which rises 1,686 metres above sea level with a 50–60 metre deep crater.
