Essaouira Day Trip From Agadir
- The first stop will be at the Tamanar town station, a Berber town, to rest for a while.
- The second stop will be along the way to take photos of the goats that climb the argan tree to eat the fresh nuts.
- The third stop will be the female cooperative of Berber women who work with local products such as the famous argan. Then we will arrive in the city where you will have free time of almost three hours to enjoy the complete visit to Mogador and its main monuments.
- First, visit the Scala del Puerto; there, you will marvel at the panoramic view of the port along with that of the sea.
- Then, if you are hungry, you can eat fish at the restaurants in the port or enter the port and buy fish by yourself and take it to the restaurant to grill or fry it (this way does not cost much money) or eat at the restaurants and snacks inside the city.
- Next, you will enter the city that is characterized by three different neighbourhoods:
- The kasbah includes the old administrative district.
- The old city “is located between two axes”: the first connects Bab Doukkala with the port, and the second extends from Bab Marrakech to look at the sea. At the confluence of the two axes, several specialized markets were established.
- Al-Mallah: the Jewish quarter that played an essential role in the city's history.
- After visiting these neighbourhoods, you will also visit the city walls, the mosque, and the souk before heading to the city’s seafront promenade, where you will admire the panoramic view of the island and the beach.
- And after finishing your tour time, you will find the driver nearby waiting for you on the way back to Agadir.
