Itinerary

1. Day 1: Agadir – Taliouine – Taznakht – Zagora desert

   We will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Agadir at 7 am to start this unforgettable adventure through Saffron Taliouine and Taznakht, the capital of Berber carpets and the capital of saffron. Have lunch in Taznakht or Zagora and stop at other places to admire the beautiful views of the High Atlas Mountains, kasbahs and palm oases before arriving in Zagora. After lunch in Taznakht, the landscape slowly gets steeper and steeper as we travel through the Draa Valley towards the Zagora Desert. On arrival in Zagora, you will have tea or lunch before heading to Mhamid El Rizlan. We enjoy a camel ride across the gravel landscapes to Haima camp, where we will have dinner and spend the night admiring the stars twinkling in the desert night sky in a cozy atmosphere with friendly people and local music. Can you imagine a better way to spend an unforgettable evening in the Moroccan desert? The installation will occur in nomad tents for a night in the desert.

2. Day 2: Zagora Desert – Taznakht – Taliouine – Tiout – Agadir

   Wake up early on the second day to catch the sunrise and enjoy the camel ride through the dunes in the last moments of the Sahara. It is an unforgettable experience. We will have breakfast at Haima camp before heading back to Agadir. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains and other Berber villages to Tiout Oasis. Tiout is a village where the French film Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves was filmed. You will have lunch there in the high kasbah of Tiout; then you will walk on foot or on the back of a donkey in his beautiful big oasis. After lunch, the return to Agadir is usually scheduled around 6 pm with the possibility of a free drop-off at Agadir airport instead of returning to the hotel if it is your last day.
