Located about 70 kilometres from Marrakech, Imlil is the last village accessible by road before climbing the famous Mount Toubkal, the highest point of the Moroccan Atlas. Known for being the starting point for many hikes, including the ascent of Toubkal, Imlil and its valley are also known to offer a change of scenery. With its pure and abundant water, its many orchards and its breathtaking panoramas, the valley shows another unknown side of the region

Trip to Imlil Valley and the Toubkal from Marrakech
- Full-day trip to Imlil and asni valleys will take you to explore the hidden Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains, enjoy a hiking tour and visit an argan oil production in the High Atlas foothills, discover the Berber way of life in the villages and such dramatic landscape in a guided 1.5-hour hiking tour.
- This trip from Marrakech will take us to the heart of the Atlas Mountains, starting from the big Dam of LallaTakerkoust and the great atlas. We find ourselves at the foot of Toubkal, the highest mountain in Morocco and the second-highest peak in Africa (over 4161 meters), then get to the small town of Tahanaout (The second Valley) that meets twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday) farmers in the region to the great souk.
- If it’s Souk (market) day, we will stop visiting the souks.
- Enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant in Imlil valley.
