Embark on a two-day Mount Toubkal trek from Imlil to the highest peak in North Africa. Hike through scenic valleys, waterfalls and Berber villages before reaching the Toubkal Refuge for an overnight mountain stay. Itinerary

Day 1: Imlil to Toubkal Refuge
- Departure from Imlil village located at 1,740 m.
- Begin trekking through scenic mountain trails with waterfalls and small creeks.
- Pass through the pilgrimage site of Sidi Chamharouch.
- Enjoy a lunch break along the trekking route.
- Continue hiking steadily up the valley towards the refuge.
- Arrival at Toubkal Refuge located at 3,200 m near a stream.
- Check-in to dormitory accommodation.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the refuge.

Day 2: Summit of Mount Toubkal and Return to Imlil
- Early breakfast at the refuge before starting the ascent.
- Begin the climb before sunrise to reach higher ridges.
- Continue trekking steep slopes towards the summit of Mount Toubkal at 4,167 m.
- Enjoy panoramic views across the High Atlas Mountains from the top.
- Take a short rest and snack break at the summit.
- Descend back to the refuge after the summit experience.
- Have lunch at the refuge before continuing the descent.
- Return trek to Imlil village marking the end of the tour.

Fitness Level: This trek is moderate to challenging. A good level of fitness is required, especially for the summit day with steep and rocky terrain.

Altitude: The summit reaches 4,167m. Some hikers may feel mild altitude sickness—proper pacing and hydration are essential.

Early Start: Summit day begins very early (around 4–5 AM) to avoid heat, crowds, and ensure safe return.

Weather Conditions: Mountain weather can change . Expect cold temperatures, even in summer, and possible snow in winter.

Accommodation: Overnight stay is in a mountain refuge (shared dormitory, basic but comfortable).

Packing Light: Large luggage is carried by mule—bring only essentials in your daypack.

Hydration & Food: Meals are provided, but bringing extra snacks is recommended. Stay well hydrated.

Equipment: Proper hiking gear is required. In winter, crampons and warm layers are essential.
