Day 01

Explore the Medina of Fez

Start the tour by exploring the city's most important sights. First, visit the madrassas (religious schools), where you will learn about and appreciate the beauty of Moorish architecture.
Then, as you continue walking through the amazing streets of the medina, stop at important landmarks such as the Karaouine University, the shrine of the founder of the city, and the Wood Museum, or Al-Najjarin Museum, which is located near the famous fountain of the same name.
In the afternoon, walk through the Jewish Quarter of the city and visit the synagogue, as well as centres of handicrafts such as the tanneries and looms. Your tour guide will explain the importance of these centres in commerce and their cultural significance.
