Description
Embark on this coastal tour of Italy from Ravello and visit a medieval village perched on the top of the cliff as well as the ancient Villa Rufolo. - Meet your guide upon arrival and start your guided tour:
- Travel to Ravello and walk through a rural medieval village perched on the top of the cliff (1000 feet above the sea) situated above Amalfi and Minori.
- Visit the most famous and ancient villa of Ravello: Villa Rufolo, where every year artists, singers, celebrities from all around the world come here to perform during the Ravello Musical Festival.
- Drive down the valley to reach Amalfi. (visit the limoncello liquor factory)
- Visit Amalfi and explore the ancient Marine Republic (or Republic of the Sea).
- Marvel at the 11th-century Cathedral of Saint Andrew (saint patron) for its amazing gold and bright decorations, walk around the labyrinth of tiny alleys where you can shop well and buy souvenirs or take a bath in the sparkling blue water of the sea.
- Visit Positano after lunch and feel the beautiful atmosphere of this colourful ancient village, appreciate the famous exclusive ceramics of the local artisans and enjoy a glass of wine on the beach overlooking the sea.
- Stroll through the streets and stairways of the village.
- Reach Sorrento and visit an Olive oil factory, Limoncello liquor factory and an Inlaid woodwork factory.
- Head towards Pompeii Ruins and Learn about the ancient drama of the historical eruption of the Volcano Vesuvius of 79 A.D. that destroyed and killed the town with its inhabitants.
- See the casts of a 2000 years old roman town.
- Head back to the pickup location. (Visit a coral factory for some fine jewellery).
