Hi, I’m David, a private tour operator and guide based in Pekanbaru, Riau, specializing in authentic journeys across Sumatra.

I focus on organizing personalized trips through central and western Sumatra, including West Sumatra highlights such as Bukittinggi, Payakumbuh, Lake Maninjau, Solok, and Alahan Panjang, as well as unique routes from Pekanbaru to Kerinci Seblat National Park, where you can experience untouched rainforest, wildlife, and local culture far from mass tourism.

I can also assist as a driver when needed, which allows for a more flexible and efficient journey, especially on long-distance routes through remote areas where good planning and local knowledge are essential.

In addition to Riau, West Sumatra, and Kerinci, I also collaborate with trusted local teams in Bukit Lawang for orangutan jungle trekking, allowing you to combine different highlights of Sumatra in one seamless trip.

My tours are not standard packages.I design each itinerary based on your interests, whether it’s jungle trekking, wildlife encounters, cultural exploration, coffee and tea plantations, or discovering traditional villages.
