Day 1: Climb to the Mount Kerinci Camp
- Start the climb early in the morning.
While trekking through the mountain, look around and witness the incredible view of the beautiful Kayu Aro tea plantation, rice fields, the Rawa Bento wetlands, and Mt. Tujuh off in the distance.
Proceed towards the forest.
Look for the yellow-handed Mitered Langurs, orange leaf monkeys, lizards, and birds.
Hear the enchanting song of Siamang gibbons.

Day 2: Hike to the Mount Kerinci Crater
- Wake up early and travel towards the crater.
- See lava bubbling far below in the bottom of the crater and the Indian Ocean in the west.
Return to the lodge.
