I provide high quality tours of Scotland for small groups of up to six people. Each tour is designed just for you, and is as flexible as I can make it. I take you to the places which are well known, and those which I have discovered myself. Wherever possible, I go via routes which are chosen for their natural beauty, and which avoid the crowds.If it's whisky, scenery, music, great food and drink, solitude, rugged landscapes, TV and film locations, standing stones and ancient monuments, or castles that you want, my tours will take you there. I've got a background in Scottish history and archaeology and current affairs, am now semi retired, and can honestly say that tour guiding is the most rewarding and fun occupation I've ever had.There's nothing I enjoy more than finding those out of the way spots, hotels and restaurants that are off the beaten track.It means everything to me to have happy and satisfied customers.I specialise in parties of fewer than six people, and will take you around my wonderful country in a luxury SUV or minibus.Customer care is fundamental to me, so let's put it this way: You get the fun, I'm "Dad for the Day".
