I am qualified Blue Badge Guide across all of Scotland.
I’ve been guiding in Scotland for many years now. I’ve also assisted visitors at many different attractions from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to Edinburgh Castle – the two bookends of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. I’ve worked on the west coast as well at Kelburn Castle near Largs. Where I’ve helped organise and performed in both their entertaining events for families and boutique music festivals. I’m currently working for the National Museums of Scotland, at the Museum of Flight in East Lothian in the summer and at the main museum in Edinburgh during the rest of the year.
I am a performer, but I also review for the British Theatre Guide, so if you’re interested in theatre and the arts, Scotland has a lot to offer.There are events throughout the year & across the country, not just during August at the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe (although I highly recommend them). I like to get out and explore the countryside, for the fresh air, the scenery and Scotland’s fantastic flora and fauna.Arts and nature are just two of my passions, but as your guide, I will make sure I show you the very best of Scotland and keep you entertained.
