Bartolomé Island Sailing, Hiking, and Snorkelling Tour

  • Sail to Bartolomé Island while enjoying views of different islands and tropical birds catching fish.
  • Visit one of the seven wonders of the world's islands and experience its incredible natural wealth and teeming wildlife.
  • Hike along the wooden path to reach the high point, which offers dramatic views of the lush landscape.
  • Take personal and group pictures of the beautiful volcanic landscape.
  • Snorkel with zigzagging Galápagos penguins beneath Pinnacle Rock and witness colourful reef fish, sea turtles, and rays surrounding the island.
  • Snorkel with white-tipped sharks and sea lions in the shade of the cove, which also provides the perfect opportunity to take pictures of the endemic penguins.
  • Enjoy a hot lunch served on the boat.

What to bring

  • Guests are strongly encouraged to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes with sturdy, rugged soles.
  • Bring sun protection such as sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
  • Bring insect repellent.
  • It is recommended to wear a wetsuit to neutralize the sea temperature, as it falls below 20ºC from June to November. It can be chilly at times, so we also recommend bringing a windbreaker, hat, and scarf.

  • The Transit Control Card issued by the Galápagos Governing Council is required.
  • Guests with medical conditions and/or special dietary restrictions must inform us in sufficient time so that we can accommodate their request.
  • Galápagos and Ecuador use the U.S. dollar as the official currency.
  • Most vendors accept cash. We recommend that guests bring U.S. dollars if they want to buy souvenirs.
  • Accommodations in our lodge or boat (cruise) are subject to availability. If the hotel or boat is full, we will arrange for our guests to stay in a hotel or boat of an equivalent category and provide transfers.
  • Photography is encouraged, and the Galápagos National Park Rules for Visitors must always be respected.
