Day 01

Quito Art and Street Food Experience

We will meet you at the hotel to begin a tasty tour.
The art and tasting tour starts with a visit to a local gallery, where you'll enjoy a drink with the artists while they share their work.
Then you'll head to San Francisco Market, one of the most popular markets in Quito. There, you'll taste a variety of juices and smoothies made with exotic fruits and enjoy the traditional dish, 'mote con chicharrón'.
Afterward, we'll visit different 'huecas', where you'll taste traditional dishes such as humitas, tamales, and quimbolitos.
You'll wash down these tasty corn-based dishes with a good, strong coffee or a cup of morocco, a traditional Ecuadorian drink.
You'll also get to taste more elaborate dishes, including Ecuador's national dish, 'encebollado', a fish soup, as well as some ceviche. It's enough to make your mouth water!
The icing on the cake is the chance to taste some of the best chocolate in the country while visiting a chocolate shop. Ecuador is famous for its chocolate, and you'll pair the cocoa with famous Quiteño sweets - perfect for those with a sweet tooth!
