On the return journey, take in more of the beautiful scenery along the German Alpine Road. If weather or unforeseen conditions prevent the Eagle's Nest visit, a trip to the Berchtesgaden salt mine will be arranged instead.

The itinerary

Day 01

Munich to Eagle's Nest and Berchtesgaden

• Begin your journey in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach from the centre of Munich at 8:30 am. The route leads directly via the motorway to Berchtesgaden and Obersalzberg. Around 11:20 am, you can take the special bus and lift to Eagle's Nest.
• After the departure on the special bus, there is enough time for lunch and a visit to the NS Documentation Center.
• Around 3:00 pm, the coach departs for Berchtesgaden, where your English-speaking tour guide offers a short city tour.
• On the return trip to Munich, partly via the German Alpine Road, see even more of the beautiful landscape.
• A visit to the Berchtesgaden salt mine will be organised in case of bad weather (snow, ice, fog, etc.) or other unforeseeable events, such as a defective lift.
