Munich to Linderhof, Oberammergau and Neuschwanstein
Meet the guide at 9 o'clock in the morning and depart from the centre of Munich, passing various sights in the city along the way. Learn about the history of the locations you will be visiting, and decide whether you want to enter either or both castles to see them from the inside.
Stop first at Linderhof Castle. Visit the beautiful gardens, tour the castle, or have a coffee. Souvenirs can also be bought here.
Drive past the artist village of Oberammergau, known for its "Lüftlmalerei" painting and the Passion Plays performed every ten years.
Reach Hohenschwangau, where you can have lunch at leisure and walk to the famous Marienbrücke bridge, from where you can take beautiful pictures of the castle.
Go to Neuschwanstein Castle, located slightly uphill. It is possible to travel most of the way by horse-drawn carriage or shuttle bus for an extra charge. Otherwise, you may walk.
Get dropped off in Munich, concluding your tour.
