    We'll begin our adventure to Machu Picchu with pick up from your hotel in Cusco or Ollantaytambo then we will head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, here we'll have a short stop to enjoy the breakfast, then we'll keep driving to Abra Malag 4,316m /14160ft.This is the spot where we beginof our cycling, your guide will provide the biking gears and the safety talk.

    Then we descend around 42km /26miles along the route you'll enjoy and see how the climate changes from the misty mountains to the Rainforest area, after some stops during the descend, we'll arrive to Huamanmarca, from here we continue our journey by bus to Santa Maria 1200m / 3937ft  where we'll have lunch. 

    In the afternoon you can have option to go for white river rafting, an exciting activity where you'll have fun in the river with class II-III-III+. Then you'll return to the town where we have a lodge to spend the first night.

  • Santa Maria - Santa Teresa expand_more

    This day is the most adventure day beacuse we'll be hiking through the rainforest area. After the breakfast we start the hike following a road until the beginning of the trail, then we will enjoy the mystical of the jungle,  looking many typical native flora and fauna, also visiting some local families and learn their traditions. You'll be exciting to hike on the ancient Inca Trail with incredible views of the valley, your guide will tell you the history of this. 

    Then we descend to our restaurant to have lunch next to the Urubamba river, also you'll will be available to relax on our hammocks . Afterward we continue walking to the hotspring to relax, then finally arrive to Santa Teresa 1500m / 4921ft  our lodge is near of it to spend the second night.

  • Santa Teresa - Machu picchu town expand_more

    Today you'll have fun along the Zipline, after our breakfast, we'll drive for a few minutes to the base camp of the Zipline company, they'll provide you all the gears and the safety talk, then you adventure will begin flying over a valley at the different possitions. After two hours we will board the bus to Hidroelectric where we'll have lunch, afterward we'll continue our hike following the train truck about 3 hours to Aguas Calientes town, here your guide will accommodate you in your hotel to rest and explore the town by your own.

  • Machu picchu - Cusco expand_more

    This day you'll wake up early to visit one of the new wonders of the world, Machu Picchu. Your guide will take you by bus to this magical Inca site directly to the view point where you will enjoy the sunrise and arrive there berofe the crowds, while you'll be enjoying this spectacular view your guide will show you the important Inca temples and you'll have the time to explore by you own. Once you over it, you will go down bu bus to Aguas Calientes to enjoy your lunch then you'll board the train to Ollantaytambo then bus to Cusco.

What you need to pack?

  • Passport
  • Valid, STUDENT CARD (if you booked as a student)
  • Immigration Card (given on the plane as you enter Peru)
  • Good daypack (the smaller, the better)
  • Water storage: Water reservoir like Camelback is encouraged - but enough for at least 2-3 liters.
  • Comfortable hiking boots (lightweight with good soles)
  • Trekking poles



FOR YOUR DUFFEL:

Your duffle bag will be transport by a taxi until your next hotel it has to be no more than 4 kg of your personal items, in case you bring more weight of it you should pay extra.

INSIDE YOUR DAY BACKPACK:

Daypacks can be any size for hiking, but we always say the smaller, the better. Inside Machu Picchu, bags larger than 25L will not be allowed in. If it is larger, you will need to store it outside citadel gates. But don´t worry, they have a secure storage facility.


Water: we supply a bottle of water the 2nd day and the same the 3rd day, however you will be available to buy more water along the route or at the restaurant. You are responsible for your first and last day
