Hi! My name is Anastasio but you can call me Tacho…, not Taco, Taa-chow.

I am a freelance tour guide and have been working in the tourism industry for over 29 years, and as an official tour guide for over 10 years! I am a native from the state of Quintanaroo (situated on the southeast of Mexico at the Yucatan Peninsula), and my first language is Maya; Jach ki’imak in wóol in wilikech (Pleased to meet you!) but I am also fluent in Portuguese and English.I am very proud of my heritage and love sharing all I know about it’s ancient peoples, cultures, history, art, archeology and unique traditions and of course sitting down together to enjoy it´s distinctive and exquisite food and drinks!

I also love learning about the cultures of those I meet! All my years travelling and speaking around this beautiful country has helped me to become knowledgeable, versatile, flexible and of course always professional.I am able to lead groups of any size as well as more intimate and/or tailor-made tours for families and corporate events (team building and conventions).
