Zugdidi, while not a high traffic tourist spot on its own, does see many visitors who pass through the city on route to Mestia in Svaneti. To go with the spirit of exploring the less explored, take some time off to explore this quaint town. The most prominent landmark is the Dadiani Museum. Once a castle, it houses historic collections including one of Napoleon’s death masks.  The enchanting gardens surrounding this castle are inviting to take a stroll along the lake amongst an extraordinary collection of trees.
