Jasper likes to consider itself somewhat rough around the edges; a place where real people live and the traditional ways are still kept. A Jasper tourist guide would insist on a trip to the Maligne Canyon Ice Walk. A summer walk is so totally different to that taken in winter; either way both are spectacular. Another must do is a trip on the Columbia Ice Field. Turquoise isn’t a colour until it has been seen at its ultimate –glacier blue! The Jasper Tramway takes visitors 2,277 meters up Whistler’s Mountain, where it’s as if one can see forever.
