San Ramón is located in the Central Valley, it is easy to access from the Airport, it takes less than one hour to get there, on the way to San Ramón you will enjoy beautiful views along the way and pleasant weather that people love. Two former presidents of Costa Rica were born there, and well known poets too. Coffee is the main product in agriculture, also sugar cane is a really important one too.
There are good places to stay and a lot of things to do for nature lovers, such as Quetzal bird watching and animals spotting. In a day trip, you can go to many different places like: Puntarenas, Poás Volcano, Arenal Volcano and Thermal waters, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Sarchí where the Oxcats are made, San José City (Central Market, National Theater, The Gold Museum, etc.), Las Musas Waterfalls and Pools with water from amazing Waterfalls etc. Also you could do biking and hiking in the Central highlands. The Farmers Market are held on Fridays and Saturdays where you can get everything you need fresh like veggies, fruits, cheese, chicken, fish, etc
