Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, a UNESCO World Heritage site runs under a mountain range, through an underground cave holding impressive formations of stalactites and stalagmites and empties itself into the South China Sea. Navigate the river in pump boats to catch the diversity of the flora and fauna that reside in the national park surrounding the river.

Honda Bay offers boating and island hopping to explore gorgeous white sand beaches. Let the sand run through your toes, or submerge yourself into the waters in the exploration of coral reefs and grey reef sharks near the islands of Arreceffi and Panglima Reef.

Palawan waters are world famous for scuba diving; if you’ve never done it, do have a go at a beginners’ course. If that’s not for you, snorkelling is another way to appreciate the vibrant underwater world. To explore the island, hike through lush rainforests, streams, and hilly terrain with your tour guide who can point out the indigenous wildlife in the area. The Monkey trail within the national park provides for a fun hike with its wooden paths in the forest.
