Description
Travel from Hells Canyon Dam - a concrete gravity dam in the western United States to Idaho. See its mountainous landscapes, vast swaths of protected wilderness and outdoor recreation areas. Stop at Pittsburg, Cambridge, Imnaha and other places to engage in paddle-boating, hiking the natural terrains, understanding the geographical formations, and enjoying quaint lunches by the riversides.
Itinerary

Day 1 - Hells Canyon Dam
- Have breakfast between 6:30 & 7:00 AM. After breakfast, travel to the Hells Canyon Dam.
- Spend your day fishing, go for a short hike and some introductory rapids.
- Lunch is riverside each day.
- Arrive in camp around 4:00 P.M. Appetizers are set out around 5:30 and dinner is served around 7:00.

Day 2 - Wildsheep and Granite Creek
Arise to the aroma of fresh coffee and sizzling bacon.
Visit Wildsheep and Granite Creek.
Take a paddle boat ride.
Go for short hike to an old Homestead and some ancient Nez Perce pictographs.

Day 3- Pittsburg Landing And back to Cambridge
Go for the Kirkwood Historic Museum and Ranch. This was the home of the former Idaho Governor and Senator, Len Jordan.
Have lunch on the riverside and arrive at Pittsburg Landing. This is the take out point for the 34 mile trip. Transportation is provided back to Cambridge.

Day 4 - Imnaha And The Salmon
Pass through the confluence of the Imnaha and The Salmon river. Geologists believe that at one time, The Salmon was larger than The Snake.

Day 5 - Hellar Bar To Lewiston
Pass the confluence of The Snake and The Grand Ronde.
Go out for a Hellar Bar visit.
A 45-minute van ride return to Lewiston, Idaho, to end the trip.
