6-Day Kenya Wildlife Safari through Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara

• Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where you will meet your representative, receive a briefing about your safari, and drive to Amboseli National Park.
• Have lunch at Amboseli Kibo Safari Tented Camp. Kibo Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp in Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
• Later, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

• 0630hrs: Go on an early morning game drive.
• 0830hrs: Return to the camp for breakfast.
• Spend the rest of the morning at leisure, enjoying the beautiful view of Kilimanjaro from your room.
• 1300hrs: Have lunch. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure, and you can take a swim in the pool.
• 1530hrs: Enjoy coffee or tea in the lobby.
• 1600hrs: Head out for another game drive in the afternoon in search of the Big Five.
• 1800hrs: Dinner and overnight at the camp.

• After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
• Arrive in time for lunch at the camp, followed by early afternoon relaxation at the camp.
• Later, take a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnics, and game drives. The park, which surrounds the lake, has recently been enlarged partly to provide a sanctuary for the black rhino. This undertaking has necessitated a fence - to keep out poachers rather than to restrict the movement of wildlife. The park is famous for its bird spectacle, featuring over a million flamingos, more than 400 migratory bird species from around the world, and large flotillas of pelicans.

• Have breakfast at the camp and then drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
• Check in and have lunch at the lodge.
• 1530hrs - Enjoy coffee or tea in the lobby.
• 1600hrs - Set out on an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara. Maasai Mara is situated in southwest Kenya and is one of Africa's greatest wildlife reserves. Together with Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, it forms one of Africa's most diverse, incredible, and spectacular ecosystems, and possibly the world's top safari big game viewing ecosystem. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration.
• Return for dinner and an overnight stay at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Alternative 1

• Have breakfast in the morning and leave the lodge with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive in the Mara National Reserve, searching for the Big 5.
• You will return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Alternative 2

• You can choose a morning balloon ride. (Optional at extra cost)
• 05:00 am: You will be picked up from your lodge and transferred to the launch site. Here, you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing, and watch the inflation of your balloon.
• At dawn, take off as the sun rises and float in whichever direction the morning winds take you. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of the balloon, sometimes flying at treetop height and sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. From time to time, the pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners. In between these burns, there is silence apart from the natural sounds below. The flight lasts about one hour, depending on the conditions.
• On landing, celebrate traditionally with champagne (or an excellent sparkling wine) before sitting down to a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in "Out of Africa" style.
• After breakfast, receive your balloon certificate, and drive back to the lodge with game viewing en route.

Optional Maasai Village:

• See and experience their wonderful culture. While at the village, you will enjoy local interaction, cultural exchange, dances, fire lighting, and a barbeque goat-eating ceremony.
• Masai women dancing will welcome you to the village. A guide will take you through the village, explaining in detail the way the Masai live, their beliefs, and traditions. You will also get demonstrations of how the Masai make fire using sticks.
• You will go into their houses and be shown the full family setup.
• Have lunch at the lodge.
• At the end of the guided tour, you will go to a market where you will have a chance to buy items and curios made in the village. While in the village, you are allowed to take as many pictures as you want.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay amidst Masai traditional dancers.

• Have breakfast at the lodge, then drive back to Nairobi.
• Get dropped off at the airport for your homebound flight.
