Day 01

North Cappadocia Highlights Tour

• Early morning pick-up from your hotel to begin the tour. Head to Devrent Valley, where you can see many different rock formations and small fairy chimneys that create a lunar landscape with their unusual appearance.
• Take a short walk through this impressive valley.
• Continue to Paşabağ (Monks Valley) and see the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys.
• Drive to Avanos, which is very famous for its pottery craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red-colored clay comes from the residue of Turkey's longest river, called Kızılırmak.
• Watch a pottery-making demonstration and try it yourself. Have lunch in a local restaurant and taste Turkish cuisine.
• Explore the Göreme Open Air Museum.
