4-Day Komodo Island Highlights From Bali

• Be picked up from the hotel by a representative in the Bali area and drive to the airport to fly to Labuan Bajo.

• Proceed to the harbour to board a wooden boat leaving for Komodo Island.

• In the early evening, arrive at Komodo port.

Overnight on board.

• Start the exploration of the island by half an hour walk to Banunggulung to see the Komodo dragon, the largest monitor lizards in the world in their natural habitat. The island is also home to the mound-building megapode bird, the sulfur-crested cockatoo, the noisy friarbird and tropical flora.

• Return to the harbour and sail back to Labuan Bajo with lunch on board.

• Stop at Pink Beach to relax, swim and snorkel.

• Move to Rinca island, while enjoying the stunning sunset over the ocean waters.

Dinner and overnight on board.

• Begin with an early morning start from Rinca to Komodo island. 

• Trek through the typical dry forest to explore the Island of Komodo dragons. Find many wild animals like Timor deers and wild boars. Embark on numerous birds such as megapodes, yellow-crested cockatoos, imperial pigeons, white-breasted sea eagles and maleos.

• Ride a boat to the Red beach for swimming and snorkelling in an unspoilt coral reef amongst colourful tropical fish.

Lunch on board and back to Labuan Bajo for an overnight stay.

• Visit the Batu Cermin, after breakfast in the morning. It is also called Mirror Rock. It is actually a tunnel or cave in the dark stone hills of Labuan Bajo

• As the day ends, transfer to the airport for departure to Bali or the next destination.
