Description
Nice & enjoyable Bordeaux Wine Tour to explore the charming (wine) neighbourhood of Chartrons with our in-house sommelier and a 30min professional wine & cheese tasting.
This Bordeaux Wine Tour is designed by our Sommelier.He will take you on a stroll through the UNESCO wine merchant streets, many of which are 300 years old buildings.
We will walk for almost 1.5 hours to discover the neighbourhood of the Chartrons while learning about the grape varieties in Bordeaux, the important wine regions, the 1855 classification, how to read a label like a professional, the important names of tge Chateaux (wine estate) in Bordeaux, the historical monuments of the district and much more!
At the end of the tour we will put all the theoretical knowledge into practical “learning by tasting”.
We will have a professional Wine Tasting of 4 Organic Wines paired with assorted cheese platter in a nice wine bar.

We start our tour in the heart of Chartrons also known as Old Wine Merchant street.Situated on the "Port de la lune" (the french name for Port of Moon) also a pet name of Bordeaux dating back from the 17th Century.Today they are all World Unesco heritage.
