Palić lake is the largest natural lake in Serbia, almost 5km in diameter and with a maximum depth of 3.5 meters.The shore of the lake is 17 kilometers long, arranged along its entire length.According to a legend that the locals will gladly tell you about, Palić is a lake formed by shepherd Paul tears, who lost his flock there, and because of that, water in the lake is salty.
Sombor, a town widely known for its greenery, more precisely for the American hackberry tree, brought from the Mississippi Valley in 1903 and rightly bears "the greenest city in Europe" epithet.

After 2 hours drive, we reach our first destination – Palić lake.Only 8 kilometers away from Subotica, this lake has been one of the most visited locations in Serbia for many years, primarily because of its landscaping and beautiful early XX century architecture.

Ferenc Raichle's Palace, which opened in 1904, is a fascinating example of Art Nouveau architecture.The Synagogue in Subotica, built in 1902, is one of the most beautiful synagogues in this part of Europe.Cathedral Of St.Theresa Of Avila was built in the late baroque style from 1773 to 1779.Among locals, it is known as The Great Cathedral, dedicated to the patron of Subotica, St.Theresa of Avila, whose character is on the coat of arms of Subotica.
After a walk through the city center, you will have time to explore and enjoy Subotica's streets and squares and taste the far-known local cuisine.
