Description
From the top of the Mount of Olives, we get a panoramic view of the Old City, the Dome of the Rock, and the many rooftops, steeples, and city minarets. On our way down, we pass the Garden of Gethsemane and drive through the Kidron Valley passed several ancient Jewish tombs.
In the Old City's Armenian Quarter, head towards the restored Cardo, once a busy Byzantine thoroughfare. In the Jewish Quarter, we visit the Wailing Wall and see the world's holiest Jewish site.
Follow the Via Dolorosa along the route he took to his crucifixion at Golgotha to pass the Cross's Stations. The Via Dolorosa leads us to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the holiest Christian site in the Old City.
End tour of the Old City with a visit to the Christian and Muslim Quarter markets then we drive south through the Judean Desert. Pass the city of Jericho to arrive at the Dead Sea to swim, relax and benefit from the rejuvenating natural minerals in the water, air and the black Dead Sea mud.
