Itinerary
  • Day 1: Travel from Casablanca – Rabatexpand_more

    After greeting, you head for a short visit to Morocco's most significant industrial city; there is enough time to visit the monuments (the mosque, souks of Habous, the Jewish Museum, and la Cornish).

    Then, we go for discovery and wander in the peaceful Medina of Rabat and have dinner in one of its small local restaurants. 

    After a long day, we relax in a comfortable riad/hotel with a tasty dinner.

  • Day 2: Go from Rabat – Chefchaouenexpand_more

    After breakfast, visit the beautiful sites of Rabat: Kasbah Oudayas, the fort of victory built by the Almoravid dynasty in the 11th century, Hassan Tower, the Alouette Mausoleum, and the Chellah cemetery to admire the harmonic mix of the Phoenicians, Roman, and Islamic architecture.

    Later on, you will be on the coast to visit the Kasbah Mahdiya, the old Portuguese port and fort still standing partially in a beautiful panoramic hill dominating the delta of the Sabou river.

    Later, you will be driven between the fertile fields of Gharb, one of the extensive agricultural lands of Morocco, going through the groves of the Rif Mountains and by the city Ouazzan, famous for the typical Moroccan dress “Jellaba”. 

    Later in the afternoon, you will attend the sunset outdoors of the blue city Chefchaouen, the icon of the RIF.

  • Day 3: Explore Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fesexpand_more

    Wake up early, eat breakfast and a last short walk in the narrow streets of the medina before you leave in the direction of the glorious city of the 8th century Fes.

    You are invited to a short hike for one hour in the ruins of Volubilis; it is one of the old cities that was influenced by the existence of the Romans in North Africa. A city that provided a lot of agricultural products to Rome; olive oil, olives, vegetables, wheat, and the famous Ceder wood.

    Later on, we visit the 17th-century capital Meknes, with its beautiful gate, bab Mansour, the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the founder, the granaries, and the reservoir of water Seouani; it is recommended to go on a short walk in its peaceful medina. 

    By the late afternoon, we drive to Fes; stay overnight in Fes.

  • Day 4: Explore Fes and Its Main Attractionsexpand_more

    Today after breakfast, you meet your guide and explore Fes El Jaded, the Jewish quarter of the medieval era, the fancy gate of the Royal Palace, more the Islamic street with the beautiful Andalusian balconies of the houses of Moresque refugees after the Spanish conquest at the 15th century.

    Drive along the Ramparts, visit the ceramics, and some of the gates of the oldest medina in Morocco, the first Imperial still standing city Fes El Bali; navigate inside the big labyrinth is another experience taking you far away centuries back in time, to discover the unchanging Fes; for 12 centuries it remains the exact authenticity in building style and the significant activities. 

    If there is more time left in the afternoon, you can go for a sunset walk along with the "Champs Elise" of the 20th century French founded "La Ville Nouvelle" and drank a cup of coffee in one of the local coffee shops.

  • Day 5: Proceed from Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desertexpand_more

    We leave for Midelt, passing through the Atlas Mountains and the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas. 

    We visit the ski resort of Ifrane and then Azrou as an important handicraft centre. 

    We stop in Midelt for lunch, famous for its mineral products and apples. 

    Afternoon, we will drive towards Merzouga Desert, visiting Erfoud and Rissani. 

    We continue to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. 

    Tonight we stay in a local and comfortable hotel/riad with a tasty Moroccan dinner.

  • Day 6: See the Wonderful Merzouga Desertexpand_more

    In the early morning, wake up to see the sunrise on the high peak of the sand close to your tents, and eat breakfast.

    Later, you leave with your guide for a hike through the beautiful dunes; it will take you enough time to get out of the dry river bed to the east of the Erg of sand.

    Eat lunch, a typical nomadic and take a rest.

    By the late afternoon, you will be warmly welcomed in one of the nomads' tents around the dunes, have a cup of tea, and learn more about their daily lives. 

    You will find the 4wd car waiting for you, to pick up to the hotel for dinner choice either hotel or tent.

  • Day 7: Journey from Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valleyexpand_more

    After the unique experience of the Sahara and the lifetime memorial, today, the roads and tracks will take you to follow the trails of the caravans of the old times in the direction of the Dades Valley and Marrakech, enjoying the landscape and admiring the power of nature. 

    The visit of Todra Gorges is opposed very strongly, hiking a bit and taking beautiful panoramic photos, the valley and the canyons are breathtaking. 

    Later, you drive farther west to the Valley of Dades for overnight and dinner.

  • Day 8: Dades Valley – Taourirt Kasbah – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakechexpand_more

    After breakfast, the journey to Marrakech via the Taourirt Kasbah and Ait Ben Haddou. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou is one of the most spectacular forts in the south of Morocco, used as a back scenario for many films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, The Gladiator, and many other movies. 

    Continue to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m), which offers dramatic panoramic views in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain.
