Description

Transportation to Appleton Estate Rum Tour and the YS Waterfalls, is an exciting journey as you will travel along the shoreline and through the mountains.The scenery along the way is something to talk about.The greenery of the island and the colorful houses and buildings you see as you driver through the small towns and local communities, will give you the real look and feel of Jamaica.
Your driver/guide will stop at rest stops along the way.Here you will be able to get out of the vehicle and stretch your legs, use the restrooms, smoke and grab a few snacks if you wish, before continuing on your journey.After travelling for approximately 2-21/2 hours, you will get to your first attraction.Your driver/guide show you where he will be parked waiting for you, before you enter the Appleton Estate building for your tour.

Itinerary

Travelers will get a guided tour of the grounds of the estate.They will watch a short documentary about the company and the making of rum, then sample sugar cane and all the by-products.After a tour of the Factory and the warehouse where the rum barreled and stored, they move on to tasting 3 of the Appleton Rums.
Travelers will be driven across the grounds of the property over to the YS Falls & Park.There they can climb the falls assisted by guides, do rope swings, swim in different shallow sections, use the pools or just relax under the trees in the shade.There is also zip lining available and shopping.
