The itinerary

Day 01

Tour in Provence: "Cézanne and the winegrowers"

We will start our day with a visit to the city centre of Aix-en-Provence, its fountains, its mansions and the Saint Sauveur cathedral (1h30). We will then leave for an immersion in the world of the painter Cézanne with a visit to his studio (ticket not included 6.5 euros). Passing through "the painters' field" and "the Cézanne portal" we will take the country path, very close to the Sainte Victoire mountain for a light walk. We will discover the Bimont dam, the Cézanne balcony and breathtaking landscapes. The ideal place for a picnic in the heart of Provence of the famous painter. After filling up with energy, we will continue our journey towards Château Lacoste, where we will enjoy the various exhibitions of contemporary art, a visit to the vineyards and a wine tasting to end this day in style! Possible stops, depending on the timing, in some local product shops (Puyricard chocolate factory, olive oil, confectionery, lavender).
