   The Chorro de Quevedo square is a public place in Bogotá.In this place Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada established his military garrison, before founding the city in this same place in 1538.It is located on Calle 13 with Carrera 2, in the historic center of the city.

   
   
   

5. Plaza de Bolívar

   
   

   Bogotá's Plaza de Bolívar has more history than pigeons.Since its foundation, it has been called in different ways, at first it was known as La Plaza Mayor, after independence it was called La Plaza de la Constitución and since 1846 it is the emblematic Plaza de Bolívar.
