Day 01

Pine Forest Walk to Novososedovo and Berdskiye Skaly

• Drive approximately 150 km south-east of Novosibirsk to the village of Novososedovo.

• Walk 2 km through the pine forest.

• Enjoy a picnic in the pine forest.

• Visit a sacred place where one of the former Gulags was located.

• Walk the same 2 km back to Novososedovo village and drive back to Novosibirsk. The whole tour takes 6-8 hours, depending on traffic and weather.

Know before you go

• Not recommended in rainy weather.

• In May and June, there might be ticks in the forest, so if you are not vaccinated, insect spray and regular checks are recommended.

• From late May to mid-August, there are mosquitoes in the forest. Insect spray may be helpful.

• Important: there are absolutely no crowds anywhere along this tour.
