The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Tozeur and Old Medina Walk

Early morning departure from Tunis, Hammamet, or Sousse.
Enjoy a scenic drive through central Tunisia with a lunch stop.
Arrive in Tozeur in the afternoon and check in at the hotel.
Take a short walk through the Old Medina of Tozeur, famous for its traditional brick architecture.

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Mountain Oases and Star Wars Desert Adventure

Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart by 4x4 vehicles for a full day of exploration. Visit the mountain oases of Chebika, Tamerza, and Midès, known for their waterfalls and panoramic canyon views.
Lunch in a palm grove at Tamerza.
In the afternoon, continue with a 4x4 desert adventure to Ong Jemel, including the Star Wars Mos Espa film set.

Return to Tozeur for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Chott El Jerid Crossing and Desert Camp Stay

Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
Drive across the Chott El Jerid salt lake with photo stops.
Arrive in Douz, the "Gateway to the Sahara".
Enjoy free time to explore the local souk (market).
Optional: quad biking adventure and sunset over the dunes (extra).
Transfer to a Bedouin-style desert camp.

Dinner and overnight under the stars.

Day 04

Sunrise Desert Experience and Berber Villages

Early breakfast at the desert camp.
Optional camel ride at sunrise across the golden dunes (extra).
Depart for Tamazret and Matmata, Berber villages in southern Tunisia.
Check in to a troglodyte house-hotel, a unique underground rock home.
Lunch and leisure time to rest.
In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion including a visit to Toujane, a traditional Berber mountain village.

Dinner and overnight at the troglodyte hotel.

Day 05

El Jem Amphitheatre and Return North

Early breakfast and departure from Matmata.
Stop en route for a guided visit to the Roman amphitheatre of El Jem, one of the best-preserved in the world.
Continue north to Tunis, Hammamet, or Sousse.
Arrive by late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of the adventure.
