Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Overnight Journey from Dhaka to Khulna

Leave Dhaka at 10:00 pm on a reserved A/C bus for Khulna.

Day 02

Transfer to the Vessel and Cruise into the Sundarbans

Upon arrival at Khulna train station, you will be transferred to a vessel. Immediately begin your journey towards the Sundarbans.
After a couple of hours, the boat will stop at Dhangmari / Changpai to pay forest revenue and complete other forest formalities.
Set out again after finishing the formalities. During the journey, enjoy the view of Bangladesh's riverain beauty in the world's largest mangrove forest, Katka in the Sundarbans.

On arrival at Katka, the boat will be anchored at a suitable location.

Day 03

Birdwatching, Jungle Exploration, and Return Cruise

Early in the morning, enjoy a birdwatching program through the narrow channel by country boat.
After breakfast, enjoy the Sundarbans' panoramic beauty from the watchtower.
Trek to Jamtala Beach and explore Kotka Point. Lunch will be served in the meantime.
Take part in forest activities and entertainment. An experienced guide will accompany you full-time. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner.
In the evening, start the return cruise to Kachikhali.

Day 04

Canal Cruise and Return towards Dhaka

Early in the morning, if time permits, join a canal cruise by country boat.
Then resume the boat journey towards Khulna. Those who have a flight to Dhaka will disembark at Mongla and take a car ride to Jessore. For the rest of the guests, the cruise will continue towards Khulna.
After dinner, drive back to Dhaka by A/C bus. Reach Dhaka early the next morning and get down at any station of your convenience.

Food menu:

Breakfast: Bread, butter, egg, jelly, honey, chapati, parata, mixed vegetables, thick dal, tea, coffee, and fruit.
Lunch: Plain rice or bhuna khichuri, mixed vegetables, fish curry or meat, dal, potato chop, and salad.
Evening: Plain cake, biscuits, chanachur, fruits, and tea or coffee.
Dinner: Plain rice or rice pulao, mixed vegetables, meat or fish, salad, and dessert.
