Far from the popular trekking routes, the path to Badimalika winds through pristine forests and across vast, stunningly beautiful high-altitude meadows known as patans. As a fully supported camping trek, this journey allows for total immersion in the remote, untouched landscapes of the Sudurpashchim Province. Reaching the holy temple at 4,200 meters offers not only a profound sense of spiritual accomplishment but also breathtaking views of the Api and Saipal Himalayan ranges.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Your trip starts when you get to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. After you get settled, you can rest from your flight. Or you can go out and see the busy streets of Thamel. This is the city's main tourist area. It has many shops, places to eat, and a special, lively feel. Take your time to walk around. See the local shops. Enjoy the mix of old and new. The air here is often full of sounds and smells.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
This day is for seeing culture and getting ready. In the morning, you can visit some of Kathmandu's well-known UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One is the old Swayambhunath Stupa, also called Monkey Temple. It has wide views of the city. You can climb its many steps. You will see monkeys playing. Another is the holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath. It sits by the Bagmati River. You can see people doing their prayers here.
In the afternoon, you will have a talk about the trek. Here, you will meet your guide. You will talk about the trip plan in detail. You will check all your hiking gear one last time. This makes sure you are fully ready for the trip ahead. Ask any questions you have. Make sure your bag is packed well. Your guide will share important tips for the days ahead.

Day 03: Fly to Dhangadhi (109m), Drive to Dadeldhura (2,000m)
You will start early in the morning. You will go to the airport for a flight to Dhangadhi. This city is in the flat Terai plains of Nepal. As the plane goes down, you will see the land change from hills to flat ground. The view from the plane is nice. When you land, a car will be ready. It will take you on the next part of the trip. This is a long, winding drive up into the hills to Dadeldhura. The road goes through mountains. It gives nice views. The air gets cooler as you go higher. This drive shows you more of Nepal's different lands. You will pass small towns and farms.

Day 04: Drive to Jadga (Sanphebagar) (1,280m)
The trip keeps going with another day of driving. You will go deeper into the far-western hills. You are heading towards Jadga, near Sanphebagar. This is where your trek will start. This drive is a trip in itself. You will pass through small towns and far-off places. The land changes through different nature zones. It gives you a good look at daily life. It shows the rough land of this less-traveled part of Nepal. Notice the small farms and local homes along the way. The roads can be dusty. The views are always changing.

Day 05: Trek to Budha Krodh (2,700m) | 5-6 hours
The walk starts today! You will leave the road behind. The path goes up steadily. You will pass through farm fields with rows of crops. Locals grow grains and root crops here. Then you will go into thick woods of pine and rhododendron trees. The path is often rough. It can be steep in some parts. This first day of walking shows you how far away this area is. You will walk to the small place called Budha Krodh. You will stay there for the night in a tent or a simple local home. Listen to the sounds of nature around you. The air will feel fresh and clean.

Day 06: Trek to Bhito (3,500m) | 6-7 hours
Today's walk was hard but amazing. The path keeps going up steeply. It takes you above the tree line. The thick woods change to small, tough bushes. Then you will see wide, green, rolling fields. These are called 'patans'. The air gets thinner. You will feel the effort. But the reward is the ever-growing views of the valleys around you. You will feel truly in the high mountains. You will reach the camp at Bhito. Look back at the path you have walked. The silence up here is deep.

Day 07: Trek to Triveni (3,870m) | 4-5 hours
The path today leads to the holy place of Triveni. It is at 3,870 meters. The name 'Triveni' means where three rivers meet. This area is very special. People come here to wash in the rivers. This is true especially during the Janai Purnima festival. The land here is grand. It has wide, open grasslands under a big sky. It is open to the wind and sun. This day has shorter walking times. It helps you get used to the high air. This is before the final push to Badimalika. Take time to rest and breathe. The views are wide and open.

Day 08: Trek to Badimalika Temple (4,200m) | 3-4 hours
This is the main day of the Badimalika Tour. In the morning, you will climb a steep, last path. It is a rough trail to the holy Badimalika Temple. It sits on top of a hill at 4,200 meters. Reaching the top feels like a big win. The temple itself is small. But its holy meaning and the amazing 360-degree views are truly great. You will see the Api and Saipal mountains all around. You will have time to look at the temple area. Feel the holy air. See the grand views. Then you will set up camp nearby. This is a moment to remember. The wind can be strong here.

Day 09: Explore and Trek to Dhawalpur Lake (2,500m) | 6-7 hours
You might wake up to a stunning sunrise over the mountains. You will have more time to look around before going down. The way back is different. It takes you down towards the lovely Dhawalpur Lake. The path is long and goes downhill. You need to walk carefully. The day ends at the calm, blue-green water of the lake. It is a peaceful and pretty place to camp for the night. Enjoy the quiet of the lake. The water is often very still.

Day 10: Trek to Lamagadh (2,195m) | 5-6 hours
The path down keeps going. The trail winds its way from the high country. You will go back into thick woods of pine, fir, and rhododendron trees. The path may pass by small shelters. Shepherds use these for their animals. You will see the land from a new angle. This is different from when you walked up days ago. You will reach the village of Lamagadh. This brings you back to places where people live all the time. Notice the change in the trees and plants. The air will feel warmer again.

Day 11: Trek to Mourya (2,350m) | 5-6 hours
Today's walk goes through the heart of the area's culture. The path passes through many old villages. People from the Chhetri and Brahmin groups live here. This is a great chance to see the special local buildings. Houses are made of stone and mud. You can see a way of life that has stayed the same for hundreds of years. The walk has gentle ups and downs. You will move from one valley to the next towards Mourya. Say hello to the people you meet. Their smiles are warm.

Day 12: Trek to Sanphebagar (1,280m) | 4-5 hours
This is the last day of walking. You will finish the circle back to Sanphebagar. The path gets wider and clearer. You are going down towards the town. Seeing Sanphebagar marks the end of the hard trip in the wild. It is a time to be happy. It is a time to think about the amazing places and things you saw in the past week. You have done something great. Your legs might feel tired, but your mind will be full of good memories.

Day 13: Drive to Dhangadhi (109m)
A car will be ready for the long drive from Sanphebagar back to Dhangadhi. This day is for resting your legs. You can watch the rough hills change to the flat, warm lands of the Terai. When you get to Dhangadhi, a nice hotel awaits. It has the welcome comfort of a hot shower and a proper bed. Enjoy the simple comforts. This is a good change after many days of simple living.

Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,400m)
A morning flight takes you from Dhangadhi back to the busy main city of Kathmandu. After going to your hotel, the rest of the day is free. You can use this time to buy last-minute gifts in Thamel. You can visit a favorite place again. Or you can just relax. In the evening, there will be a goodbye dinner. This is to celebrate finishing your great trek. Share stories of your trip. Talk about your favorite parts.

Day 15: Final Departure
Your trip to Nepal ends today. A ride will be set up to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home. This will be based on your flight time. You will leave with memories of a special trip. You will carry the peace of the mountains with you.
