Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

   Morning

   • Pickup from your hotel or airport in Arusha after breakfast.

   • Meet your private safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire.

   • Scenic drive through Maasai villages and open countryside.

   Midday

   • Enter Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds.

   • Enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch in the park with views over the Tarangire River.

   Afternoon

   • Game drive through acacia woodlands and savannahs; keep an eye out for:

     • Elephants, giraffes, zebras

     • Lions lounging in the shade

     • Rare birds like the yellow-collared lovebird

   • Photography stop near the Tarangire Swamp, often bustling with wildlife.

   Evening

   • Drive to your luxury lodge or tented camp near Lake Manyara or Karatu.

   • Dinner and overnight rest.

2. Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

   Early Morning

   • Breakfast at the lodge, then depart for the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro highlands.

   • Optional stop at a Maasai village or viewpoint overlooking the crater rim.

   Midday

   • Enter the Serengeti National Park through Naabi Hill Gate.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, with sweeping views of the endless plains.

   Afternoon

   • Game drive across the central Serengeti, where wildlife is abundant year-round.

     • Witness wildebeest herds, lions on kopjes, cheetahs on the prowl.

     • The Serengeti offers unmatched opportunities to spot the Big Five.

   • Optional visit to a hippo pool or the Seronera Visitor Center.

   Evening

   • Arrive at your tented camp or lodge for a serene sundowner.

   • Enjoy dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

3. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Back to Arusha

   Early Morning

   • Depart Serengeti after breakfast and head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Optional early start for sunrise views over the crater rim.

   Mid-Morning

   • Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater

   • Enjoy a 5-6 hour game drive on the crater floor.

     • Look out for: Black rhinos, lions, zebras, flamingos, hippos, and hyenas.

     • The crater is one of the few places to see such a dense concentration of animals in a small area.

   Lunch

   • Picnic at a scenic spot near a hippo pool or under a shady acacia tree.

   Afternoon

   • Begin your return journey to Arusha 

   • Drop-off at your hotel, airport, or other preferred location in Arusha.
