Day 1: Journey to Chitwan National Park
Your adventure begins with a scenic 5-6 hour drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan. Upon arrival at your jungle lodge, you'll check in and receive a briefing about the activities ahead. In the evening, enjoy a walk through the local village and watch the beautiful sunset over the Rapti River.

Day 2: Canoe Trip & Jungle Walk
After breakfast, we embark on a serene canoe trip down the Rapti River, a fantastic opportunity to spot marsh mugger crocodiles and a vast array of birdlife. In the afternoon, experience the jungle's sounds and smells up close during an exciting, guided jungle walk with a naturalist.

Day 3: Full Day Jeep Safari
Today is dedicated to exploring the park's core areas on a full-day jeep safari, complete with a packed lunch. We will venture deep into the grasslands and forests, seeking out rhinos, several species of deer, monkeys, wild boar, and hopefully, the magnificent Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 4: Cultural Immersion
We dive into the local culture today with a visit to a Tharu village to observe their unique lifestyle. We'll also visit the Elephant Breeding Center to see the gentle giants and their calves. In the evening, you will be treated to a captivating traditional Tharu stick dance performance.

Day 5: Bird Watching & Relaxation
Chitwan is a paradise for bird lovers, home to over 500 species. We'll start with an early morning bird-watching tour led by a specialist. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax at the lodge, perhaps by the pool, or revisit a favorite nearby spot.

Day 6: Explore 20,000 Lakes (Bis Hajari Tal)
This longer itinerary allows us to visit the beautiful Bis Hajari Tal, a wetland area and Ramsar site renowned for its tranquil beauty, birdlife, and as a prime habitat for crocodiles. We will explore this unique part of the Chitwan ecosystem by jeep.

Day 7: Departure from Chitwan
Enjoy a final breakfast at the lodge before embarking on the scenic drive back to Kathmandu, concluding your in-depth Chitwan safari adventure.
