Whale Watching

The Classic Whale Watching is a 2,5-3,5 hr. family-friendly  sightseeing tour that takes you into Eyjafjörður where you can experience the unparalleled comfort and stability of our ship whilst viewing the sights of the fjord under the commentary of one of our excellent guides. We will teach you all about the whales and nature in the surrounding area as well as answering any questions!

Goðafoss

Goðafoss Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Nicknamed the Waterfall of the Gods due to its history. In the year 1000, Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði made Christianity the official religion of Iceland and proceeded with throwing his statues of gods into the waterfall.

The water falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters.

Know before you go

  • Please make sure to arrive at our ticket office by Oddeyrarbót pier at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure to check in and receive your boarding pass. The boat is docked right next to the office, making boarding quick and easy.
  • Icelandic weather can change rapidly, so we recommend dressing in warm, layered clothing - even on sunny days - as it can be chilly out at sea. Complimentary overalls are available on board to help keep you comfortable throughout the tour.
  • We follow a strict code of conduct for responsible whale watching to ensure a respectful and safe encounter with the wildlife. Our guides will provide safety instructions at the start of the tour, so please listen carefully and don’t hesitate to ask questions during the journey.
