Itinerary

1. Day 1 – Constantine: Bridges, Palaces & Museum

   • Morning: Flight from Algiers to Constantine.
   • Meet & greet at Constantine Airport, followed by a transfer to the city center.
   • Visit the Sidi M’Cid Bridge and enjoy panoramic views of the Rhumel Gorge.
   • Explore the Ahmed Bey Palace, a jewel of Ottoman heritage.
   • Lunch at a traditional restaurant in Constantine.
   • Visit the National Museum of Cirta, which showcases Roman mosaics, Numidian artifacts, and Islamic treasures.
   • Stroll through Constantine’s medina and old quarters.
   • Evening at leisure with an overnight stay in Constantine.

2. Day 2 – Djémila (Cuicul) & Emir Abdelkader Mosque

   • Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, followed by departure for Djémila (~1.5-hour drive).
   • Guided exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site: forum, basilicas, theater, streets, and triumphal arch.
   • Lunch in Djémila village or nearby.
   • Return to Constantine in the late afternoon.
   • Visit the Emir Abdelkader Mosque before departure or evening transfer if needed.
   • Free time for shopping or a relaxing coffee in the city center.

   Overnight stay in Constantine.

3. Day 3 – Timgad (Thamugadi): Rome in Africa
