The itinerary

Day 01

Hike to Ras el Feid and Camp Overnight

• Meet your tour guide at Shammakh village near Shobak to begin the program.

• Hike down to Ras el Feid.

Camp overnight.

Day 02

Wadi Feid Canyoning Adventure

• Head for canyoning at Wadi Feid.

• Abseil down 10 waterfalls ranging from 8 to 55 meters.

• Camp before the last waterfall.

Day 03

Final Abseil and Return to the Meeting Point

• Abseil down the last waterfall.

• Walk to the meeting point.

• Travel by jeep back to the starting point.

What's Included

• Specialized Jordanian guides (2 or more). Our Jordanian guides are CPR-certified, trained in survival situations, and have extensive knowledge of the trail system.

• Gear: helmets, harnesses, ropes, carabiners, and friction tools. All gear is from PETZL and BEAL and is certified by the International Mountaineering Federation: UIAA, EN, CE, and NFPA.

• Jeep transportation.

What's Not Included

• Food and drinking water (can be bought from Shobak Village).

What to bring

• Footwear and clothing suitable for canyoning and swimming in the wet canyons.

• Sunglasses, a sun visor, and post-adventure spare clothes.

• A 40 L backpack to carry your belongings while walking.

Know before you go

• Everybody must fill in and sign the knowledge of risk papers.

• Participants aged 15 and above are allowed on this program.

• The maximum number of participants is 6.

• Bring your camping equipment.

• Food can be bought from the village.
