Pedal through Northern Vietnam on a 7-day Ha Giang Loop cycling adventure from Bao Lac to Hanoi. Conquer the dramatic Ma Pi Leng Pass overlooking the emerald Nho Que River Gorge, ride through the UNESCO-listed Dong Van Karst Plateau, and reach the iconic Lung Cu Flag Tower at Vietnam’s northernmost point. Along the way, visit Lo Lo, H’Mong, and Tay villages, explore historic sites like the Mong Palace, and tackle thrilling off-road trails before ending in Hanoi.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Hanoi & Transfer to Bao Lac
- Private vehicle transfer from Hanoi to Bao Lac.
- Meet guides and fellow adventurers.
- Prepare bicycles and gear for the journey.
Optional: Relaxing massage or local Vietnamese beer tasting.
Day 2 – Bao Lac to Meo Vac (64 km)
- Cycle over Khau Vai Pass with panoramic mountain views.

Day 3 – Meo Vac to Dong Van (40 km)

Day 5 – Dong Van to Yen Minh (50 km)

Day 6 – Yen Minh to Tam Son (50 km)

Road Conditions: Expect a mix of paved roads, village paths, and occasional gravel or uneven sections with cars, motorbikes, pedestrians, and animals. Stay alert at all times.

Weather: Vietnam’s climate varies. Prepare for warm, humid weather, possible rain, and cooler mountain temperatures. Pack breathable clothes and a light rain jacket.

Fitness & Preparation: Tours suit those with reasonable fitness. Distances vary, so some prior cycling practice is recommended.

Safety: Helmets are provided and must be worn. Follow guide instructions, ride at a safe pace, stay hydrated, and rest when needed.

What to Bring: Personal cycling gear (if preferred), sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, and a small backpack for daily essentials.
