- Accommodation: Stays are at Rondon Ridge, Karawari Lodge, Ambua Lodge, and Airways Hotel.
- Expect comfortable eco-lodges with scenic settings, but facilities may be simpler in remote areas.
- A single supplement applies, with some twin-sharing exceptions at Rondon Ridge and Sepik Spirit.
- Weather and climate: The Highlands, including Mount Hagen and Tari, have cool evenings and warm days, so bring warm clothing.
- The lowlands around Karawari are hot, humid, and more prone to rain, so lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended.
- Health and safety: Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
