This safari visits Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Masai Mara National Reserve. Track the Big Five, see chimpanzees, and visit rhino sanctuaries at Ol Pejeta. Itinerary

Day 1 – Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
- Depart Nairobi for Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approx. 3.5–4 hours).
- Cross the equator near Nanyuki and enjoy scenic highlands views.
- Check in at your lodge/camp with views of Mount Kenya.
- Afternoon game drive: Spot northern white rhinos, chimpanzees, elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and giraffes.
Dinner and overnight at Ol Pejeta.
Day 2 – Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park
- Early breakfast at the lodge.
- Drive to Lake Nakuru via Rift Valley escarpment (approx. 5–6 hours).
- Check in at your lodge/camp near the lake.
- Afternoon game drive: Flamingos, pelicans, black and white rhinos, lions, zebras, giraffes.
Evening relaxation at the lodge with lake or forest views.
Day 3 – Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
- Breakfast at lodge.
- Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5–6 hours) passing rural towns and rolling hills.
- Check in at your lodge/camp.
- Afternoon game drive: Explore Mara grasslands and spot wildlife including predators and herds of herbivores.
Dinner and overnight in Masai Mara.
Day 4 – Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
- Early breakfast and depart for full-day game drive with packed lunch.
- Follow migration herds (seasonal) and observe lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and diverse birdlife.
- Optional Maasai cultural visit in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 5 – Second Full Day in Masai Mara
- Early morning game drive for active predators at dawn.
- Full-day or split morning and afternoon drives with picnic lunch.
- Optional sunrise hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast.
Final night in Masai Mara enjoying the sounds of the wild.
Day 6 – Masai Mara to Nairobi
- Breakfast at the lodge/camp.
- Drive back to Nairobi (approx. 5–6 hours) or take optional flight.
- Drop-off at Nairobi hotel or airport for onward travel.

Travel Distances – Expect long but scenic drives: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta (~4 hrs), Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru (~3 hrs), Nakuru to Masai Mara (~5–6 hrs).

Park Entry Fees – Confirm if included in your package; each destination (Ol Pejeta, Nakuru, Mara) has separate fees.

Wildlife Sightings – While abundant, sightings of specific animals like rhinos, lions, or leopards are not guaranteed.

Best Game Viewing Times – Early morning and late afternoon game drives are the most rewarding.

Weather – Ol Pejeta and Nakuru can be cool in the mornings, while the Mara is warmer but can get rainy; pack layers.

Accommodation – Safari lodges and camps provide bedding, mosquito nets, and basic amenities; some eco-camps may have limited electricity.

Connectivity – Wi-Fi is available in most lodges, but coverage in the Mara and Ol Pejeta can be limited.
