The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Amboseli and Afternoon Game Drive

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through scenic landscapes toward Amboseli (approx. 4-5 hours).
Check in at your lodge or camp and relax while enjoying views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Set out on an afternoon game drive to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and possibly lions or cheetahs.

Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Full-Day Wildlife Viewing in Amboseli

Head out early for a morning game drive, the best time for wildlife viewing and Kilimanjaro photography.
Explore Amboseli's swampy areas to spot hippos, pelicans, crowned cranes, and other birds.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to the lodge.
Continue with an afternoon game drive to look for more predators and grazers.

Overnight at your Amboseli lodge or camp.

Day 03

Amboseli to Tsavo West Safari Journey

Begin with an early morning game drive in Amboseli for final wildlife sightings against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro.
Transfer to Tsavo West (approx. 3-4 hours), enjoying the changing landscape along the way.
In the afternoon, explore Tsavo West on a game drive to see Mzima Springs, Shetani Lava Flows, lions, leopards, giraffes, kudu, and elephants.

Overnight at a Tsavo West lodge or camp.

Day 04

Tsavo West to Tsavo East Adventure

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tsavo West to explore Mzima Springs or other highlights.
Transfer to Tsavo East (approx. 3 hours), known for its vast open plains and red soil.
Set off on an afternoon game drive in Tsavo East to spot "red elephants," lions, cheetahs, zebras, and buffalo.

Overnight at a Tsavo East lodge or camp.

Day 05

Final Tsavo East Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

Take an early morning game drive in Tsavo East for final wildlife sightings at dawn.
Have breakfast at the lodge before departure.
Transfer back to Nairobi (approx. 5-6 hours).
Arrive in Nairobi by afternoon or evening, concluding your safari.
